FAQs

Who do you help? People who want to change their behaviors and put in the hard work now to change their financial future. People who are serious about their goals, and want to leave a positive legacy behind. Anyone who makes money and cannot figure out where it goes every month. People who feel overwhelmed by the mountain of debt that is staring them in the face.

What is your coaching philosophy? In the great words of Henry Ford, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” I will do 3 things: 1) understand your objectives, 2) provide information, and 3) instill hope (where you may think there is none).

Where can we meet? The 1st appointment should be in-person. I am open to meeting you at your home or an agreed upon public place. Zoom is an option.

When can I book my consultation to see if we are a good fit? Please take a look at my schedule to see what aligns with yours. *If you don’t see a time slot available, please let me know and we can work something out.*

Why would I want a financial coach? To have a third party to discuss personal finance issues with zero judgment. To understand tendencies and emotions behind saving and spending money. To improve your overall financial literacy and increase your financial success.

What certifications/qualifications do you have? I have completed thorough training through Ramsey Solutions’ Financial Coach Master Training.** I have also completed their accelerator program with the official title of Ramsey Preferred Coach and receive coaching / guidance myself to better serve my clients.

How much is the cost to do a Budget Deep Dive? $350.

How long does the Budget Deep Dive session last? A typical session lasts 1.5 – 2 hours

What is your coaching fee and can you do single sessions? We can discuss in detail during the consultation

What happens if I pay you for the Budget Deep Dive and then want coaching afterwards? Whichever coaching package you choose, the cost of the budget deep dive is automatically applied.

Why do you charge? I will help you save much more money in the long run (or short run) than the cost of the coaching.

How do you accept payments? I can accept payments through Honeybook, Stripe, Zelle, Venmo, or cash/check.

What is your plan to help me get out of debt? Every person’s situation is unique. The path to success is going to be different for each individual/couple. You must work the plan that we will co-author. I will guide you based on the information you provide (the more detailed info the better).

If I am married, does my spouse need to be present at the consultation/coaching sessions? Yes, all parties need to be present at the consultation as well as the coaching sessions.

Okay – let’s say we agree to work with you. How much access do we get to you? I am always available to answer your calls / texts / emails (preferably I would not like to get a call in the middle of the night). In the coaching agreement, we can outline just how often you need me to check-in with you. In the past, I have set up recurring meetings with clients that can be shifted around if things come up. In-person meetings need to be rescheduled within 24 hours.

Why do you have a coaching agreement? I have a coaching agreement so that you understand how committed I am to helping you with your goals. The agreement holds you accountable to what we discussed in the consultation. I would ask you to extend the courtesy of an explanation if you are going to cancel the agreement.
