Baby Step 7 – Explained

Some would say that this is the final chapter. I say, it is the beginning of a completely new book in life. It’s like school: Baby steps 1-3 is like junior high. It’s really uncomfortable, there are growing pains and it’s a little bit awkward because you are changing, but not everyone around you is changing. Baby steps 4-6 is like college. You are starting to mature and see things in a different light. You are getting deeper knowledge and education through trial and error. Baby step 7 is like a doctorate degree. The culmination of a life’s work with the crowning achievement of financial success. You made it to the summit and now, you get to bless others beyond your wildest dreams.

The ultimate step: Baby Step 7! This is where the true fun begins. When you arrive at this step, the stress melts away and you don’t have a payment to anyone in the entire world (except for your regular bills). This is where your dream for outrageous giving comes into view. What do you plan on leaving behind as your legacy? Do you want to be remembered as someone who assisted the community around you? These are the questions you must ask yourself in this step.

There is no greater joy than the act of selfless giving. Seeing someone light up in their face when they receive a gift you know they will never be able to repay is a tremendous feeling. You change their life and it changes yours.

What inspires you? Where do you want to give your time, talents, and money? What values do you hold dear and want to uphold since you are now in the generous giving phase of life?
